What to do about kitchen sink clogged

At one time or another each of us has faced a clogged sink, usually after an afternoon of cooking something up in the kitchen. No plumbing problem is more common, more frustrating, and cause to the greater inconvenience to the entire family than a clogged drain.

Kitchen sink drains clog most often because of a buildup of grease, and food particles that get caught in the grease and gradually build up a deposit which, in time, closes the drain completely.

If the kitchen sink gets clogged, pour some soda bicarb with hydrogen peroxide into it and leave overnight. Wash the sink in the morning with plenty of water.

To avoid clogging the kitchen drain, keep the tap open for one or two minutes after you’ve cleared your dishes. And pour half a liter of hot water into the sink every night. (tips by Prithviraj Verma)
